Danny Butvinik is the Chief Data Scientist at NICE Actimize, providing technical and professional leadership. Danny is an expert in artificial intelligence and data science. In his current role, he manages a large group of data scientists, and contributes to the growth of innovation and to intellectual property of the company. Danny has over 15 years of research, development and management experience in data science and software development. Danny is the author of multiple scientific articles and papers. He holds a B.Sc. in Mathematics and Computer Science, a master's degree in Business Administration (MBA) and a MSc. in Mathematics and Computer Science. For his Ph.D., Danny’s main research focuses on online incremental machine learning and anomaly detection in data streams. Danny’s hobbies include solving mathematical puzzles, storytelling and traveling.
Achi Hackmon has been with NICE Actimize since 2004 and was appointed as Head of AI & Analytics in 2020 after a three year tenure as CTO. In his current role, Achi is responsible for Actimize AI & Advanced Analytics capabilities, working with customers, product management and R& to continuously deliver superior ML capabilities across the Actimize portfolio. In previous roles within Actimize, Achi served as chief architect and as a senior director managing the Actimize Platform R&. Prior to joining NICE Actimize, Achi served in various development roles at NICE and as an officer in the IDF in one of the elite technological units in the intelligence corps. Achi earned a B.Sc. from Tel Aviv University in Math and Computer Science.
Yoav Avneon is an experienced Lead Data Scientist with a demonstrated history of working in the computer software industry. Yoav is skilled in R, Python, machine learning, data analysis, big data, environmental awareness, wildlife conservation, and risk management. He has strong analytic professional experience with a Doctor of Philosophy (PhD) focused on Spatial Ecology from Ben-Gurion University of the Negev. Yoav is also a Brighu yoga practitioner.
Pravin Dahiphale has been the Tech Lead Data Scientist for the past two years at NICE Actimize. His role includes working on AML Advanced Segmentation by bringing the solution to production level from scratch, and enriching it with different unsupervised learning capabilities to help solve problems faced in unsupervised learning. In addition, Pravin successfully provided the first phase of Advanced Segmentation to Goldman Sachs. Prior to this, most of his experience was in database, reports and data warehouse, along with programming which kept him interested in the data science field. Pravin completed his B. Tech. in Information Technology from Veermata Jijabai Technology Institute, Mumbai. He also completed his Post Graduate Program in Business Analytics (PGPBA) from Great Lakes Institute and is currently pursuing a master’s degree in Data Science and Engineering from the Birla Institute of Technology and Science, Pilani.
Ori Snir is the Senior Product Manager for NICE Actimize's X-Sight Analytics Platform. Ori has 14 years of experience in both product management and analytics, and has served in multiple roles in the analytics space, including most recently as the head of the EMEA Fraud Analytics Services team. Ori holds a bachelor's degree (B.A.) in Economics and Psychology from Tel Aviv University and a Master's degree in Business Administration (MBA) from Tel Aviv University where he majored in Technology, Innovation and Entrepreneurship Management as well as in Data Science.
