Uses machine learning to read and extract entity and meta-data from unstructured data sources to produce structured data outputs. This resolves significant problems that FIs face today in operationally managing Trade Finance and is an enabler for Trade-Based Money Laundering detection. The extracted data from the Trade Finance documents allows AML systems to detect, and for analysts, to scrutinize the details in easy-to-read format thus removing the need to manually decipher the document for key information that is needed.

  • Kharon [Tags: Screening: Adverse media, Sanctions, PEPs]
A list provider about sanctioned companies. They research and curate data about sanctioned companies and their related companies (very similar in concept to CRB monitor, though unrelated in data and domain). AML related, of course.

Provides a risk-relevant database of sanctions, watchlists, PEPs and Adverse Media risk profiles. This partner complements CDD, WLF & ActOne Extend client solutions.  During the onboarding process within CDD, RDC can provide source data for screening purposes to determine if the party is sanctioned, a PEP, or has Adverse Media. This solution provides significant benefits to ActOne Extend clients as well the screening output is used to enrich entity data while enabling the Investigator to have a comprehensive view.  By allowing the investigator to view the screening results within ActOne, they no longer need to navigate to external systems to check if the customer identity is a match for PEP/Sanctions screening or has any Adverse Media hits.

Provide search tools for negative news, watchlist, sanction, and PEP data. Due to the nature of unstructured data, especially from qualified news sources, less key identifying attributes are present. This increases the potential matches which increases disposition time. By reducing the false positives, compliance teams will have more time to analyze and make strategic decisions on the right data, rather than spend time mining news sources and clearing false positives.
